Offerings and Services
Prenatal and Birth Doula
Support for mother and family during pregnancy, birth and postpartum. Having a doula during birth includes support in any way baby is delivered (vaginally, C-section, or VBAC, HBAC). We also assist in creating an ideal birth plan to share with healthcare providers.
Prenatal Massage
Relaxing massage for expectant mothers using special techniques for pregnancy.
Postpartum Meal Support
Mothers need extra nourishment after birth. We provide nutritious meals for the first weeks post birth. Special nutrition for breastfeeding support can also be integrated into meals.
Belly Binding
Binding of the belly using cloth bandages to help support the body’s recovery after birth.

My journey into the birth world began ten years ago with the pregnancy of my son. What started as a deeply personal experience soon revealed itself to be a calling. Through the beauty and challenges of my own path, I came to understand the importance of compassionate, steady support during all the perinatal phases.
As I continued walking this path, I realized this work is also part of my lineage. My grandmother served as a community Partera, supporting women and families through birth. In many ways, this medicine lives in my bloodline, and it is an honor to continue that legacy by holding space for families during one of life’s most sacred transitions.
As a full-spectrum doula, I offer emotional, physical, and informational support so you can feel confident, supported, and empowered as you welcome your baby into the world.

KAREN BAILON SALAS

I am proud to offer doula services to Imperial Valley and Mexicali.
I’ve been immersed in and passionate about the birth world since I became pregnant in 2015 with my daughter. I had the blessing and privilege to have the support of a midwife and doulas for my pregnancy, which helped shape my view on birth and motherhood. After having my baby, I realized that every mother deserves the type of care and nourishment I received. That was when I began my independent studies and research on traditional birth care focusing on practices of my Mexican lineage. Since then, I’ve taken numerous trainings online, throughout California and traveled to Mexico to learn about the art of holding space in the precious time that is pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
My focus is offering compassionate, nurturing and personalized care to the people I serve.
